I'll believe that when i have it in my hand. Considering how long they've had to make this it should be immense! I've had it on pre-order at Blockbuster for about 6 months!

Here's my PSN username if anyone wants to add me;

Red_Leader

Here's a list of the BMWs in the game;

120d '04 (S), 120i '04 (S), 135i Coupe '07 (P), 320i Touring Car '03 (S), 330i '05 (S), 2002 Turbo '73 (S), Concept 1 Series tii '07 (P), M3 '04 (S), M3 Coupe '07 (P), M3 CSL '03 (S), BMW M3 GTR '03 (S), M3 GTR Race Car '01 (S), M5 '05 (S), M5 '08 (P), McLaren F1 GTR Race Car '97 (S), M Coupe '98 (S), V12 LMR Race Car '99 (S), Z4 '03 (P/S), Z4 M Coupe '08 (P)

S - standard car
P - premium car
not sure what the difference is?

No E30s or E36s of any kind Crying or Very sad Well maybe the Z3M Coupe is kind of an E36 but it's not the same. You should see the list of Hondas. There's like 3 or 4 times more than the amount of BMWs. Biased gits!

I have a French guy as one of my friends on the PSN network and i saw him playing this yesterday! I messaged him asking how he had got it already and he just said, 'French copy'. I thought it was 24th Nov release for EU? So how is he playing it on the 20th?

The Top Gear test track is the first one i'm gonna try when i get it.

You have to let us none PS3 owners know what this is like i would seriously consider buying a PS3 for this game alone.

It's good mate; really good. Need to get me a Logitech G25/7 now so i can really appreciate the handling/physics. I've driven over 1,100 miles on it in 3 days Embarassed Not even tried online yet.

Driven ~4,200 miles on this since last Wednesday! Online is pretty rubbish though. There's no structure to the events. It just seems to be a free for all with any car you fancy. I wanna see one make races where everyone has to have the same car. Not stupidly fast shit all the time. The slower cars make for better racing anyway. GT5 Prologue had way better online. I hope they fix it.

Some of the endurance races in this are sick; 9hr Tsukuba, 24hr Le Mans, 24hr Nurburgring! Can't save midway through either, only pause it. So even if you did say 3hrs a day you'd have to have your PS3 switched on for 8 straight days to do a 24hr race. Imagine if you were on the last lap and there was a powercut or the game froze up. Godzilla style rampage doesn't even come close.

I reckon the only realistic way is to have a few dedicated GT5 friends over and take it in turns. Could be a good idea for a charity event. i.e. Get sponsored to do it.

I've only managed two of them so far. A 300km Grand Valley Speedway race (took about 2hrs) and a 4hr MX-5/Eunos/Miata ony race at Tsukuba (turned out to be 200 laps exactly).

If anyone wants to borrow any cars for specific races let me know. I have most things. Also if someone has a Formula Gran Turismo car (pops up in the used car section for about 4,500,000 Cr) i could do with it for a day. Will give it straight back.

You're much further than me then I think. I'm surprised how short this game is. I'm 42% complete already and I'm about half way through the pro events.

If you've not unlocked Endurance Events yet then yeah i guess so. Driver level 25 i think they appear. I'm level 27 now. Know what you mean about it being short though. I only have 1 Extreme Event left; the Formula GT series but can't do it because i don't have the right car and can't afford it yet. Then about 7 Endurance ones which i will probably never do because they take too long. Got gold in all 60 license tests and gold in all but 1 of the Special Events. Kinda bored with it already tbh. Waited 5 years for this game and it satisfied me for not even a couple of weeks. Rolling Eyes

Are the endurance events completely separate to the pro, expert extreme events?

I have historic race car in expert (what did you use for this?), formula GT and the dream car events still to do.

Have you been doing any of the b spec events?

Yeah, they come after the Extreme.

Not sure what i used for that. Maybe the Countach?

Not really. He's too S***. I lose my rag with him when he doesn't overtake people Laughing

Have i added you to my friends list? What's your username?
